Island Estates Project Gets Approval in South Blooming Grove

Good news for the Island Estates development in South Blooming Grove. The village planning board approved the site plan for the first phase of the project, covering 240 apartments.

The development is being built on Route 208, right near the Island Time shopping center. This is the first big approval for the project and lets the builders move forward to the next permit stage.

One important part of the plan is water. The developer is adding private wells to the village system, which will bring in over half a million gallons of water per day. That extra supply is expected to help support the neighborhood and future growth.

With this approval done, the project is now moving ahead step by step.
