Weekly Weather: Another Rainy Week Ahead for Monroe

After a pleasant weekend, Monroe is expected to see another wet stretch of weather, with showers or thunderstorms possible each day of the week. Temperatures will remain seasonable, but the several rounds of rain will make conditions unsettled.

Monday will bring periods of rain along with the chance for afternoon thunderstorms. High temperatures will reach around 80 degrees with a low near 66, making for a cool, wet start to the workweek.

Showers will continue on Tuesday, becoming steadier as the day goes on. Highs will be around 81 degrees with a low of 64, keeping conditions damp and overcast for much of the day.

Cloudy skies and scattered showers remain in the forecast Wednesday. Temperatures will hold near 80 degrees, with an overnight low around 66 degrees.

By Thursday, a few breaks of sunshine are expected during the morning before scattered thunderstorms develop in the afternoon. Highs will climb to around 83 degrees with lows near 69 degrees.
