Water Main Flushing Planned for South Blooming Grove Tonight

Water main flushing scheduled for later tonight in South Blooming Grove could leave tap water looking discolored in the Lake Shore area tomorrow.

The work is set to begin at midnight and may affect the water’s appearance the following morning. Residents in the affected area may need to run their cold water until it clears before using it.

Anyone planning to do laundry should run an empty rinse cycle through the washing machine first to help prevent discolored water from staining clothing.

The flushing is part of maintenance work on the village’s water system.
