Village of Monroe Farmers Market Cancelled for 2026 Season

By Y.M. Lowy

The Village of Monroe has announced that its Farmers Market will not operate during the 2026 season.

According to a notice sent to vendors and applicants, the cancellation comes after the current Farmers Market manager decided not to continue overseeing the market this year. There is currently no replacement manager available to take over operations, making it impossible to move forward with the season.

The Village also stated that there is no guarantee at this time that the Farmers Market will return in future years, though updates could be provided if circumstances change.
