Restoring the Heichel Hatorah on Nitul Night
By Y.M. Lowy
Because learning Torah is set aside for this one night of the year, an opportunity in the Heichel Hatorah in Bhm"d Hagudel didn’t go unnoticed. With the usual crowd of learners absent, the opportunity arose for some much-needed maintenance.
Workers brought new life to the well-worn wooden tables. The tables were sanded down, smoothing away the marks of time, and a fresh coat of paint varnish was carefully applied.
Now, the Beis Medrash is fresh and new, ready to be filled with Kol Torah once more.
