Orange County Sewer Department Meets in Kiryas Joel Ahead of Major Forest Road Infrastructure Projects
Representatives of the Orange County Sewer Department recently held a productive coordination meeting in Kiryas Joel as preparations continue for several major infrastructure projects that will transform the Forest Road corridor and support the village's continued growth.
A key project discussed was the West Branch Sewer Line, which will extend sewer service along Forest Road to the Forest Edge development, planned to be sold for a maximum price of $300 per square foot, paving the way for several hundred new apartments. The new sewer line will also provide capacity for additional residential developments in the area, including Mountain Ridge, Palm Tree, and other future projects planned along Seven Springs Mountain Road.
With several major infrastructure projects taking place simultaneously, village officials emphasized that although construction will bring temporary inconvenience, these coordinated investments in roads, sewer infrastructure, and utilities will provide the capacity needed to serve Kiryas Joel's rapidly growing population for many years to come.
