The newly formed Orange County Jewish Council (OCJC) – Achim L’Deah Kiryas Joel held a well-attended Legislative Luncheon this past Sunday, bringing together community leaders and elected officials for an afternoon of discussion and connection.
The event took place from 12:00 to 3:00 PM in the new ballroom at the Sleep Inn Hotel. The luncheon was organized to open direct lines of communication between public officials and representatives of the local Jewish community.
Askanim presented key issues affecting the daily lives and wellbeing of thousands of families in greater Kiryas Joel and the surrounding area. Conversations focused on practical needs and future cooperation.
Organizers described the gathering as a successful first step for the OCJC, aimed at strengthening working relationships with government partners and building a unified voice for community concerns going forward.
