New Emergency Command Center Being Built on Second Floor of Palm Tree Courthouse
By Daily Monroe Staff
Construction is underway on a new emergency command center being built on the second floor of the Palm Tree courthouse, designed to serve as a centralized hub during major incidents, large public events, or emergency situations requiring coordination between multiple agencies.
The new facility is expected to include advanced communications systems, radios, monitoring screens, and dedicated workspace for emergency personnel and officials overseeing operations in real time.
Officials say the command center will provide one central location where law enforcement, emergency response groups, and other responding agencies on all levels can work together efficiently during critical situations.
The project is aimed at strengthening emergency preparedness and improving coordination and communication between agencies serving the community.
