Kiryas Joel Fire Department Adds New Fire Engine Truck to Growing Emergency Response Fleet

By Y.M. Lowy

A brand new fire engine recently arrived at the KJFD garage and is expected to officially enter service next week, ready to respond to emergencies throughout the community.

The new apparatus is part of Kiryas Joel Fire Department’s continued efforts to strengthen emergency response capabilities across the village and surrounding areas.

Over the past year, KJFD has also added four new mini pumpers along with a new fire police vehicle. The vehicles have been stationed at different fire garages throughout the village, helping firefighters respond more quickly and efficiently to emergencies across the entire town.

The added equipment allows crews to better cover multiple areas at once and improve response times for residents throughout the community.
