Multiple Accidents On Seven Springs Mountain Road Raise Concerns

Residents are growing worried after several accidents took place on Seven Spring Mountain Road over the past 24 hours.

As locals are well aware, rainy conditions make the winding road especially slippery, and though most drivers are careful while it’s raining, its usually after the rain stops that most accidents happen since the road is still slippery, but drivers aren’t as cautious anymore. 

Yesterday afternoon four accidents happened on Seven Springs Mountain Road within one hour. One driver veered off the road, two cars crashed, another car crashed into a village bus, and yet another collided with a school bus. 

This morning another accident has already taken place on the road, and one car had to be towed away. 

It remains to be seen what measures can be implemented to improve safety on this road, which has unfortunately become a frequent destination for emergency services.
