KJ Hatzolah Ambulance Hit in Head-On Collision Shabbos Morning

A KJ Hatzolah ambulance was involved in a head on collision as it was returning from a hospital transfer early Shabbos morning, but bh no one in the ambulance suffered serious injuries. 

The incident occurred shortly after 6am on the NJ-17 as a wrong-way driver suffering a medical episode crashed into the ambulance head-on, leaving significant damage to both vehicles.

Emergency services responded to the scene and worked for two hours to extricate the occupants of the vehicle. The ambulance driver suffered minor injuries.
