Chaveirim of Orange County Saves Key from Catch Basin

By Y.M. Lowy

Chaveirim of Orange County tackled an unusual situation when a resident accidentally dropped his car key into a catch basin, rendering his vehicle immovable. The basin was deep, partially filled with water, and challenging to reach due to a car parked directly above it.

Acting swiftly, the team lifted the car to gain safe access to the basin. After removing the frozen cover and pumping out the water, a member of Chaveirim was lowered into the basin and successfully retrieved the key remote. The team then sealed the basin and ensured the car was ready for the road.

Chaveirim once again demonstrated their ability to handle even the most unexpected challenges.
