Weekend Weather: Well, I Don’t Think We Need To Worry About The Drought Anymore
By Mrs. I. Perl
Well, well, well, the drought certainly took a sharp turn overnight. Monroe was blanketed with snow, and although it might not completely refill the reservoirs and end the drought warning, it certainly lowers the risk of more brush fires starting.
The snow is expected to continue periodically throughout the day today and into the evening with less than an inch of accumulation, and strong gusts are possible as well. The temperature will go up to 37 degrees.
The weather will improve on Shabbos with a mix of sunshine and some clouds. The strong winds will continue but it’ll be a bit warmer at 47 degrees.
Sunday will start out sunny, but clouds will move in in the afternoon together with some strong winds once again. The temperature will be 48 degrees.
