Undercover ICE Van Gets Stuck In A Ditch On Ridge Road In Woodbury

Yisroel R.

An unmarked Immigration and Customs Enforcement van became stuck in a ditch on Ridge Road in Woodbury this morning while ICE personnel were present in the area.

The vehicle is believed to be connected to possible immigration enforcement activity in the area, although no details regarding such activity has been released.

Several additional unmarked ICE vehicles arrived at the scene to assist. The vehicles had tinted windows and were equipped with emergency lights, but carried few visible law enforcement markings.

Most of the personnel remained inside the vehicles throughout the response for identity security reasons. Only the driver of the stuck vehicle and one additional officer were seen outside at the scene.

A tow truck was later called and removed the vehicle from the ditch.
