Tree Falls on Car After Crash on Daj Road

Emergency crews responded last night to Daj Road after a car veered off the roadway and crashed into the woods. The driver either fell asleep or lost consciousness, causing the vehicle to leave the road. The impact brought down a tree, which fell across the roadway.

The Kiryas Joel Fire Department, Kiryas Joel Hatzalah, State Police, and Chaveirim were all on the scene working to secure the area, check on the driver, and clear the fallen tree.

The road was partially blocked until responders removed the debris.
