Traffic Lights Partially Activated at Acres Road and Bakertown Road Intersection

This morning, the new traffic lights at the intersection of Acres Road and Bakertown Road, near the Acres Enclave development, were officially switched on.

The upgrade is expected to significantly improve safety at this busy crossing. Earlier today, the lights were also briefly tested in full traffic-light mode to ensure proper operation.

For now, the lights remain in flashing-red mode, serving as a stop sign in all directions. In the coming weeks, they will become fully functional as standard traffic signals.
