Thousands of Jews to Participate in Massive Protest in Manhattan Against Israeli Draft Policies

By Daily Monroe Staff

Thousands of Jews are preparing to take to the streets in a major demonstration, voicing their outrage over recent oppressive measures and religious persecution in Israel, particularly the draft decree targeting yeshiva students and kollel members. In recent weeks, dozens of students have reportedly already been arrested under these policies.

During the second days of Yom Tov, the announcement was made in the Satmar kehillos about this massive protest, which is expected to bring together tens of thousands in a united voice of opposition.

Preparations are underway to accommodate the massive gathering. Organizers have secured permits to close streets for the event, and transportation will be provided from local communities to bring tens of thousands of participants to the rally, a unifying act of sanctifying God’s name.
