During the summer, The Village of Kiryas Joel will begin major upgrades on two roads

On Bakertown Road from Israel Zupnick Drive intersection to County Route 105 the village will work to widen the road, add turning lanes, install traffic lights, and build new sidewalks.

On Seven Springs Mountain Road from Taitch Court to Chevron Road, plans include widening the road, adding turning lanes, and upgrading the Seven Springs intersection from a two-way road to a straight path. Traffic lights will be installed, bringing much-needed relief to the area’s traffic flow.

These improvements will help the traffic flow better and cause fewer car accidents, so be patient and use alternative routes while construction is ongoing.
