South Blooming Grove Public Hearing Tonight on Electric Bikes and Scooter Rules

Locals will have an opportunity tonight to weigh in on proposed new regulations for electric bikes, electric scooters, and golf carts in the Village of South Blooming Grove.

The hearing comes as many serious accidents involving electric scooters and bikes continue to occur, with Hatzalah responding to many incidents involving children. These rules will improve safety on local streets and reduce preventable accidents.

The Village Board is encouraging residents to attend and share their thoughts before any changes are considered.

The public hearing will take place tonight at 8:00 p.m. at Village Hall, 811 Route 208.
