Today, Orange County Department of Public Works crews are in the midst of a major repaving operation along Seven Springs Mountain Road, prompting partial road closures that are expected to impact local traffic throughout the day.

The affected stretch runs from Schunemunk Road to Seven Springs Road, where crews are actively milling and resurfacing sections of pavement as part of ongoing infrastructure upgrades.

As a result, the roadway is partially closed today, with delays expected to intensify during peak travel hours. Work may extend into Friday depending on weather conditions and project progress.

Drivers are strongly urged to avoid the area whenever possible, as significant traffic buildups and congestion are likely throughout the work zone.
