Seven Springs Mountain Road and Mountain Road Intersection Partially Opens; Crews Work in Snow to Rush Project

Drivers on Seven Springs Mountain Road are noticing a big change. The intersection at Seven Springs Mountain Road and Mountain Road, which used to form a tricky Y-shape, has been rebuilt into a smoother T-shaped design with turning lanes and fresh pavement. The new layout removes the confusing middle section, creating a safer, straighter roadway.

Crews worked through the snow today to finish final touches, so the intersection can partially open for drivers today. Sidewalk work has already been completed, marking the near-completion of this long-awaited project to make the area safer and easier to navigate.
