Sunday morning, an extensive training session was held at Ruach HaChaim Park, focusing on school bus safety and emergency rescue operations for scenarios where students may be trapped inside buses during accidents or emergencies.

The exercise involved multiple fire departments from Battalion 5, including the Kiryas Yoel Fire Department, the Orange County Rescue Team, Tuxedo Park FD, Woodbury, Washingtonville, South Blooming Grove, Monroe, Salisbury Mills, and other supporting agencies, all working together to improve response skills and coordination in critical situations.

The hands-on drills allowed units to practice emergency extrication techniques, with a bus provided by Kiryas Yoel for realistic training. The session emphasized rapid and safe methods to access and evacuate students from a bus in potential high-stress scenarios, preparing the teams to act effectively in real-world situations.
