Road Work Accidentally Strikes Gas Line, Prompting Road Closures and Emergency Response

Emergency crews were on the scene at Radamsk Way in Kiryas Joel after construction work accidentally struck a gas line, prompting a response from the Kiryas Joel Fire Department and Orange & Rockland Utilities.

According to initial information, workers performing road work in the area mistakenly hit the gas line, causing a hazardous condition. As a result, Seven Springs Mountain Road has been shut down between Nicklesburg Road and Mountain Road while crews work to secure the leak and repair the damage.
