A checkpoint was set up on Daj Boulevard to catch unlicensed taxis. An unlicensed taxi was dealt with accordingly while officers were looking for illegal taxis operating without the proper paperwork. The police also ticketed two drivers for driving with suspended licenses and had to take their cars off the road. Police say they will continue these checks to keep the roads safe.
