Orange County Firefighters Parade to Be Held in Monroe This Shabbos

The annual Orange County Firefighters Parade will take place this Shabbos in Monroe, honoring volunteer firefighters from across Orange County and New York State. Each year, a different district hosts the event, which celebrates the bravery of those who protect the community and raises funds for the Orange County Fire Association to support families of firefighters facing disability or loss.

This year’s parade will begin staging at 12 p.m. on Winchester Drive, with the march kicking off at 2 p.m. Organizers are reminding residents not to park on Cunningham Drive or Winchester Drive for Shabbos, as vehicles left in the area may be towed to keep the route clear.
