A new outdoor spot just a short drive from Kiryas Joel is now open for families looking for a fall outing. The Orange County Recreation Area and Ponds at 245 Laroe Road in Chester offers over 50 acres of trails, open space, and scenic ponds. Visitors can enjoy walking, watching people fish, or exploring the trails.

The recreation area is now open to the public, making it an easy option for a day trip close to home.
