Monroe Water Department Urges Residents to Conserve Amid Low Rainfall

By Daily Monroe Staff

As the fall season continues with a record stretch of dry weather, the Town of Monroe Water Department is urging residents to conserve water due to declining well and reservoir levels. Despite no immediate forecast for rain, these voluntary restrictions aim to preserve the water supply and prevent mandatory limitations.

For residents in Water Districts 1, 7, 8, and 10, which source water from the Village of Monroe, a voluntary water restriction has already been recommended. The same guidance applies to Water Districts 2, 12, and 14, served by town-managed wells.
