Monroe Highway Department Announces Upcoming Road Work Schedule

The Monroe Highway Department has released a detailed schedule for upcoming road work in September 2024. Please note that the schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions and vendor availability.

September 4, 2024

Orange and Rockland Road will be closed between the commuter lots. There will also be one additional day of closure during the week of September 9, 2024.

September 5, 2024

Expect delays due to fog sealing on the following roads:

Ludlam Rd.

Mine Road (between Cedar Cliff and the Bus Garage)

Heaton Rd.

Birch Drive

Schunnemunk Rd. (between Forest Ave and Schunnemunk Street)

Schunnemunk Rd. (between Forest Ave and Seven Springs Road)

Twin Lakes Rd.

Frances Lane

Cromwell Hill Rd.

Edwards Place

Walton Terrace

Walton Terrace Extension

Pine Tree Road (between Amy Todt and Harriman Heights Rd.)
