As DailyMonroe reported last week, the Monroe Fire Department held a hands-on training session where firefighters practiced with the department’s ladder truck and worked with hoses and hydrants.

This week, training continued at Station 1, the same location as last week. Firefighters focused on using the tower ladder and practiced laying in reverse to the hydrant, sharpening their coordination and response skills.
