KJFD Building New Garage to House Incoming Mini Pumpers

The Kiryas Joel Fire Department is moving forward with plans to build a new double garage on Meron Drive, just off Leipnick Way.

The new structure is being built to accommodate two of the department’s incoming mini pumper trucks. As previously reported on DailyMonroe, four mini pumpers are being added to the fleet. One has already arrived and is currently in service, with three more expected in the near future.

The new garage will provide a dedicated space to properly house and maintain the equipment, ensuring the vehicles are ready to respond at all times.
