Kiryas Yoel EMS Joins Multi-Agency Mass Casualty Drill in Orange County

Several emergency service agencies from across Orange County participated in a large-scale mass casualty incident drill early this morning at Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown.

The exercise brought together Orange County Emergency Services along with Town of Wallkill EMS, Goshen EMS, Town of Newburgh EMS, Warwick EMS, Monroe Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and Kiryas Joel EMS.

Officials said the training was designed to ensure that both hospital staff and EMS providers are prepared to respond effectively during large-scale emergencies.

Exercises like these play a critical role in improving coordination, communication, and response times during real-life incidents.

Organizers expressed appreciation to all participating agencies and partners for their time, teamwork, and dedication to maintaining community safety.
