The Kiryas Joel School District began the new school year with major upgrades for students and staff. New additions include a gym, life skills department, therapy room, and classrooms designed to give children more opportunities and support.

The centerpiece of the project is the new lobby, which provides a comfortable space for students waiting for the bus in winter, along with improved security and a welcoming reception area for parents and visitors.

During staff orientation, more than 200 employees gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Principal Yoeli Trieger and the district superintendent addressed the event, and board members joined in cutting the ribbon to open the new lobby.
