Kiryas Joel Hatzolah Members Attend In-Depth Hilchos Shabbos Shiur

On Wednesday evening, Kiryas Joel Hatzolah members attended an expanded Hilchos Shabbos shiur given by Harav R’ Yoel Yitzchok Stern Shlita. He has been delivering Hilchos Shabbos shiurim for Kiryas Joel Hatzolah for many years. This shiur was unique because it included many halachos that apply to everyday situations, with examples of common occurrences. All the members were present. Hatzolah members from outside areas came to Kiryas Yoel to cover calls so that local members could attend the shiur with peace of mind.

Hatzolah members in Kiryas Joel attend many different lectures throughout the year. Twice a month, updated lectures and scenarios are held to keep members informed about constantly changing medications and treatments. The members stay current with the latest developments, skills, and medications.

These shiurim are part of the training to help members understand what they are allowed to do and when changes are needed for Shabbos related incidents.

The board and administration invest significant time, effort, and money so that members will be well trained and equipped. This includes many booklets from the shiurim, allowing them to continue providing the most effective care according to the psak of their rabbanim and dayanim.

The members appreciate the opportunity to learn and train.
