Kiryas Joel Fire Department Inspects Equipment for Safety

The Kiryas Joel Fire Department recently conducted routine safety inspections of its equipment, following state regulations that require annual checks of pipes and ladders.

Each year, fire department personnel must examine their pipes for holes and ensure proper water pressure. This year, a company visited the department to test all the ladders. The team put weights on each ladder to confirm that they can safely support firefighters during emergencies.

Regular inspections like these help ensure that the department’s equipment is in top condition and ready for any situation, keeping both firefighters and the community safe.
