Horrifying Accident On NY-17E After Driver Falls Asleep At The Wheel

Late last night a chilling accident occurred on the NY-17E. 

While driving on the highway, a driver fell asleep at the wheel and rear ended a truck between exits 126 and 127. Although the back of the truck was only moderately damaged, the impact of the crash completely totaled and crushed the front of the car. 

Emergency responders, including Monroe EMS and State Police, quickly responded to the scene and two victims with injuries were transported to the hospital.
