Frontier Removes Electric Pole for Safer Intersection
By Daily Monroe Staff
The intersection at Israel Zupnik, Bakertown Road, and Dinev has undergone significant changes to enhance safety for drivers and pedestrians.
Previously, the layout of this intersection was challenging and considered unsafe by many residents. In response, the village authorities decided to relocate it to a more secure location.
Part of the delay in completing this safety improvement was due to utility infrastructure. While O&R promptly moved their electric poles, there were still wires belonging to Frontier that remained in place, delaying the finalization of the project.
With Frontier's recent completion of their work, the new, safer intersection is now fully active and operational, providing a safer experience for everyone in the community.
