Former Orange County Judge Commits Suicide Amid Investigation

Over the last few weeks NY has been rocked by several investigations that were exposed. The NYPD commissioner, among other officials, including the interim commissioner that replaced him, had their homes searched and phones confiscated by federal authorities amidst ongoing investigations. 

Today, another investigation, this time closer to home, ended in the most tragic way. 

Earlier today federal authorities arrived at the home of former Orange County Court judge and prosecutor Stewart Rosenwasser to execute a search warrant as Rosenwasser was under investigation for taking $63,000 in bribes from clients. 

Unfortunately, as the FBI agents arrived at his home, shots were heard from inside the house and the former judge was found to have committed suicide.
