Electric Vehicle Chargers Coming to Ramapo Thruway Rest Area

New electric vehicle chargers are being installed at the Ramapo Service Area, located between Monsey and Monroe.

The upgrades are taking place at the Applegreen Ramapo Service Area, giving drivers with electric vehicles a convenient place to charge while stopping along the Thruway.

Once completed, the new chargers will give travelers a convenient place to recharge while stopping for food or a break, adding to the growing number of EV-friendly stops across New York’s highway system.
