Earlier Start Planned for Lag Ba’Omer Hadlakah This Year

With Lag Ba’Omer this coming week, plans for this year’s Hadlakah follow a new schedule.

Instead of the usual order - beginning after Maariv at the Zman - the Rebbe will arrive earlier to share divrei Torah and lead the tzibbur in singing, without instruments, following halacha.

At the Zman, the Rebbe will daven Maariv, followed by the Hadlakah, dancing around the Lag Ba’Omer fire on an earlier schedule than all years. After this, Upsherins will then take place.

In another change planned for this year, the stage will be set up at the Kollel building instead of across the width of the parking lot as in previous years, allowing those standing in front of the Bais Medrash Hagadol a clear view of the Hadlaka.
