Congressman Pat Ryan is actively working to help constituents currently in Israel return home safely, according to a statement from his office. The congressman and his team are operating around the clock, providing direct assistance and up-to-date information from the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem.

Those who contact the office are being added to an email list that receives regular updates with the latest evacuation guidance, contact information for key agencies, and logistical instructions.

In addition to these efforts, Congressman Ryan has formally urged the U.S. State Department to act with greater urgency. In a letter sent to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Ryan called on the department to do everything in its power to expedite the safe evacuation of American citizens from Israel.
