Card Skimmers Found on EBT Machines in Village of South Blooming Grove; Police Clear All Known Cases

Several stores in the Village of South Blooming Grove were affected by EBT machine tampering this week after thieves installed unauthorized card readers on payment devices.

The issue was discovered within about an hour, and police were notified right away. All known cases have now been cleared and the affected machines have been checked and secured. Stores are operating normally, and customers can use EBT machines safely.

Police are continuing to review the incidents and remind shoppers to report anything unusual they notice at checkout devices.
