Acres Road to Close During Daytime Hours for Major Repaving Upgrade

A major improvement is coming! The stretch of Acres Road between Bakertown Road and the town of Woodbury line is set for a complete transformation this week as Upscale Developers and High Point Builders deliver the final stage of roadwork in the area.

This is more than just a repave — crews will mill down the old surface, re-level the entire roadway, and install a brand-new, smooth 5-inch final layer of pavement, finished with fresh, highly reflective striping for a safer, cleaner, and more beautiful drive.

Road Closure Details:

Acres Road from Bakertown Road until the Town of Woodbury line, at the Acres Enclave project, will be closed during daytime hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The road will remain open all day on Tuesday to allow residents to travel easily to the polls for Election Day.

During closure hours, trucks and buses will not be permitted. Residents' cars will be allowed through upon request.

Traffic will be controlled by Village Public Safety.
